Other complementary therapies are numerous and I can’t comment on those which I have not experienced or seen in use. Positive contact with a person who is focussed on supporting you in developing a healthy way of life is a good thing, and if nothing else the placebo effect may be helpful. Every family has its own set of beliefs and if an approach is within those beliefs it may be useful to try it. Martial arts teach self awareness and control and will boost self confidence and physical heath if they are well taught. |
